Reading List

I used to read for leisure and then life caught up with me, so eventually I just didn’t set any time aside to read. However, I have been working on my time management and is carving out that time in my day again to read books that interest me. These mainly include self-development, but also fiction and biographies or autobiographies. Here is my current reading list:

  1. “Read-Aloud Handbook” by Jim Trelease – Reading aloud to our children and young adults is very important! It costs nothing, but the price of a book (or a few) to read to your children and it will only help them throughout their lives!
  2. “The Magnolia Story” by Chip & Joanna Gains – I LOVE their show Fixer Upper and their never-ending love for their family and community! I’m sad that we don’t have cable and that the show is no longer on Netflix, but one day, just maybe, I will be able to watch their show again. However, until that happens I will just happily read their story. 🙂
